Our Book List feature lets you search StoryBox Library and save stories into a curated list. Once you've made a list, you can share it with anyone using a public link, PDF download or print out. The best part is that if you share a book list with someone else who also has an active StoryBox subscription, they can turn it into a playlist within their own account! #### What are Book Lists for? - Build thematic or curriculum-aligned collections - Share recommendations with colleagues, communities, friends or family - Create a repeatable process for story time - Book order requests - Wishlists and gift ideas #### Who can use Book Lists? - Anyone can view a book list share link, even if they're not logged in or don't have an account. - Anyone logged into an account with an active StoryBox Hub subscription can create book lists, and turn book lists created by others into a playlist inside their own account. - For Schools, the [Viewers can manage Playlists and Book Lists](https://crm.storyboxhub.com/help-centre/viewers-playlists?hsLang=en-au) setting determines whether Viewers have access to book list management. #### How do I make a Book List? 1. [Log in](https://storyboxhub.com/login) to StoryBox Hub. 2. Click on the **My Book Lists** button in the top right corner. 3. Click **Create New Book List** in the sidebar that opens. 4. Check the boxes under book covers to add them to your list. You can search and filter without losing your draft list. Scroll down or click **See List in Progress** to see your list so far. 5. If you want to rearrange the order of the stories in your book list, grab the handle above the cover and drag it to where you want it to be: ![RearrangeBookList](https://crm.storyboxhub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/RearrangeBookList.gif?width=640&height=224&name=RearrangeBookList.gif) 6. If you want to remove a story from your draft list, click the red **Remove X** part underneath the cover. If you want to start over, click the **Clear List** button. 7. When you're happy with your book list, click the **Save List** button. (Note that your draft list will be retained until you clear it, so you can create multiple versions of a list if you wish.) 8. Give your list a name and click the **Create** button. 9. Your list will appear. Click on the **My Book Lists** button again at any time to view lists you've previously created, or rename or delete lists. Share links will continue to work if a list has been deleted - this is to avoid broken links when the share links are used in social media posts, news updates, etc. #### How do I edit my saved Book List? 1. Click on the **My Book Lists** button in the top right corner. 2. Click on the name of the list you want to edit. 3. This will open the list. From here you can rearrange story order by grabbing the handle to the left of the cover, and dragging it to its new position. The new position will automatically be saved. 4. Or, click **Edit Book List** to put it back into draft mode where you can add, remove and rearrange stories. Click **Save List** when you're done. (You can also rename the list when you save it if you wish.) #### How do I share a link to my Book List? 1. Click on the **My Book Lists** button in the top right corner. 2. Click on the name of the list you want to share. 3. Click the **Share Booklist** link at the top. This will automatically copy the address of your Book List to your clipboard, where you can paste it into emails, messages, newsletters, social media posts, etc. #### How do I turn a Book List into a playlist? When viewing a list, click the **Create Playlist** link at the top. You can rename it if you like, then click the **Confirm** button to save. Your new playlist can be edited, rearranged and updated without the original Book List being affected. #### How do I download a Book List as a PDF? When viewing a list, click the **Download Booklist** link at the top.
