How do I AirPlay or cast StoryBox Hub videos to my TV?
AirPlay
If you have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad), you can AirPlay from our app or the Safari/Firefox browsers. Tap the AirPlay icon in the video player controls to select which compatible device you want to AirPlay to:

If you have a MacOS device (eg a MacBook), you can use AirPlay from the Safari browser by clicking the AirPlay icon before playing a video:

Or while a video is playing:

Then select the compatible device you want to play the video on.
Please note that unfortunately closed captions are not available via AirPlay at this time, however you can use screen mirroring as an alternative to display captions or subtitles. Screen mirroring may also provide a more seamless playlist playback experience.
Google Cast
You can cast from the Chrome browser on any device and both our Android and iOS apps to any Google Cast compatible TV or device (eg Chromecast or Google TV Streamer).
Tap the cast icon in the video player controls to select which compatible device you want to cast to:

The app may ask for your permission to connect with other devices on the same network. This is required for casting to work.
Once the connection has been established, the videos will play on your TV screen and you can control them using the video player controls on your handheld device.
Please note:
- The device that you are casting from and to both need to be on the same wifi network.
- Casting will not work if your smart TV does not support Google Cast.
-
Some closed captions on our earlier videos may not be supported via casting.
