How do I set up the StoryBox Hub integration for SmartSuite Library?

If you have an active StoryBox Hub School subscription you can add StoryBox as a Federated Search Area in SmartSuite Library by FSI:

  1. Contact our Support Team using the category Technical set up - Integrations and ask them for an API key for SmartSuite.
  2. When you have the API key, follow the steps in FSI's Help Centre article: Adding a new Federated Search Area.
  3. If you see fields asking for the following details, complete them as below:
    • FedSearch Name: StoryBox
    • Password: [paste your API key here]

Once the integration is set up, you'll see StoryBox as a federated search option in SmartSuite. You'll be able to search for stories and watch them directly within the SmartSuite system.

If there is an issue with your API key, the Account Holder for your StoryBox can follow these steps to generate a new one:

  1. Log in to StoryBox with the Account Holder email and password.
  2. Go to your Account Holder Settings.
  3. Under Other Account Actions, click on Partner API Keys.
  4. You won't be able to view a previously generated API key, but you can click Revoke next to it, then follow the steps below that to create a new key.
  5. When your new key is displayed, copy it and use it right away because once you navigate away it cannot be displayed again.
